PokéSurvivor Leaderboard: How Rankings Work
Last updated: 31 Oct 2026 · Game build 7cc83e285f · Unofficial fan guide
Since the 23 Oct update the PokéSurvivor leaderboard has two halves: Arceus damage on the left, time survived on the right. Per-Pokémon boards count runs from 10 minutes, the other boards from 2 minutes, and since 26 Oct a run only enters if it got a ranking seal from the game's server.
This page is about PokéSurvivor, the free browser game by JPTER78 at pokesurvivor.com. The rules changed a lot in October, so each one below has the patch date next to it. Click the date and you land on that day in our patch notes.
How the PokéSurvivor leaderboard is split
The ranking screen has two halves. Left is damage dealt to Arceus, right is time survived. Both load together. That split arrived with the 23 Oct patch, and every board was wiped on the same day.
Inside each half you filter by:
- Solo or Group. Co-op runs have their own boards (from the game's leaderboard screen).
- Period. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and All-time (18 Oct lists all five).
- All players or Friends only (the Friends rules are in the checklist further down).
- Per-Pokémon. A board for each partner.
Top 50 and "#1000+"
Friends only mostly shows friends inside the top 50; the exceptions are in the checklist below. On the All-time board, anyone below rank 1,000 sees "#1000+" instead of an exact number (18 Oct).
Arceus damage board
Reach minute 30 and Arceus drags you into the Judgment (13 Oct). Whatever you hit it for there goes on this board. It can't die, and it only takes a small, shrinking fraction of each hit (23 Oct). So big numbers take long fights.
- Halloween. From 30 Oct to 2 Nov, Spain time, a big witch Gengar replaces Arceus at minute 30, and its damage goes on the same ranking (26 Oct; the extra day was added on 28 Oct).
- Clamped before upload. The game clamps Arceus (or Gengar) damage before sending it (26 Oct).
- All-time keeps your best damage, even if that run didn't beat your best time (27 Oct).
- Friends only on All-time also lists friends outside the top 50 (27 Oct).
Want a bigger number? Start with how to deal more damage to Arceus, then compare partners' attack and HP in PokéSurvivor Pokémon stats.
How do top runs post such huge damage numbers?
Figures like that come from player posts we haven't been able to check, so we won't repeat any. What we can point you to: the fight itself on the Judgment of Arceus page and the moves and partners that hold up there on the tier list.
Time survived board
The right half ranks how long you lasted. There is no 45-minute limit in the ranking anymore (23 Oct), and no later patch adds a new one.
You may still see a 35-minute figure quoted around. That one is old. On 13 Oct records over 35 minutes were deleted, because the Judgment of Arceus had just made them impossible. It belongs in the history table at the bottom, not in today's rules.
Which runs count
- Per-Pokémon boards: 10 minutes or longer (25 Oct). It was 5 minutes from 20 Oct.
- Every other board: 2 minutes or longer (confirmed as unchanged on 20 Oct and 25 Oct).
- Under 1 minute never counted after 12 Oct.
- Weekly and monthly boards only took runs that reached the Judgment of Arceus from 14 Oct.
- Guests: leaderboards need a cloud account (name and password or Google), so guest runs don't enter (from the game's leaderboard screen). See co-op.
Ranking seals: why a run needs one
Since 26 Oct each run asks ice.pokesurvivor.com for a seal. No seal, no leaderboard entry. It's an anti-cheat step, and it sits on top of the server check that every record was really played (13 Oct).
The same patch put the public dev.html build into local-only mode online, so console edits there can't change coins. More in how PokéSurvivor's anti-cheat works.
Co-op: every player gets their own seal
In co-op each player has their own seal (26 Oct).
Why isn't my run on the leaderboard?
Go down this list in order.
- Too short. Under 10 minutes won't reach a per-Pokémon board, under 2 minutes won't reach any board.
- Not signed in. Leaderboards need a cloud account; guests play solo off the boards.
- It played on the night of 26 Oct. Many runs went missing from the boards then while still showing on profiles. Since 27 Oct the game retries the seal more and those runs enter as usual. A run that can't enter now tells you so.
- It wasn't your best. The board keeps your record. A worse run changes nothing.
- You're on Friends only. On daily, weekly and monthly boards that view only shows friends who are in the top 50 (25 Oct). On the All-time damage board it also shows friends outside it (27 Oct).
- You're checking someone's profile. Records and medals reach other players at most every 6 hours (25 Oct). You see your own right away.
- It was one of the bugs fixed on 25 Oct: runs with more than 12 defeats per second failed to upload, the weekly, monthly and all-time boards fell out of sync, and all-time bests got lost or replaced wrongly.
- It was removed. On 12 Oct broken records from the minute 84 bug and a few impossible ones were cleared. Since 13 Oct players can also flag rows.
Reporting a suspicious record
Each row has a little flag. Tap it to report the record (13 Oct). The server also checks on its own that every record was really played, as of the same patch.
Your records and profile
Your public profile shows your records and medals to others with up to a 6-hour delay (25 Oct). If you played a shiny, the board shows the shiny form (18 Oct).

FAQ
How does the PokéSurvivor leaderboard work?
Since 23 Oct it has two halves: Arceus damage on the left, time survived on the right. You filter by Solo or Group, by period (daily to all-time), by all players or friends, and by Pokémon. Each board keeps your best record.
Why is my run not showing on the leaderboard?
The usual reasons: it was too short, it didn't beat your existing record, you're on the Friends view, or it ran on the night of 26 Oct when seals failed (fixed 27 Oct). Profiles update for others at most every 6 hours.
How long does a run need to last to count?
10 minutes for a per-Pokémon board (since 25 Oct) and 2 minutes for every other board. A run that ends at 9:50 can still count on the other boards, just not the per-Pokémon one.
What is a ranking seal?
Since 26 Oct each run requests a seal from the game's server at ice.pokesurvivor.com. Without one, the run doesn't enter the boards. In co-op every player has their own.
Do co-op runs count for the leaderboard?
Yes. Co-op runs go on the Group boards, and since 26 Oct each player in the run gets their own seal.
When does the leaderboard reset?
The developer has wiped boards by hand several times, most recently all of them on 23 Oct. The full list is in the history table above.
