PokéSurvivor type chart

Last updated · Unofficial fan guide · Facts checked against the official site and game source

PokéSurvivor keeps the familiar 18-type chart but flattens the numbers, because you only fire one active move and cannot switch Pokémon mid-run.

The multipliers

Main gamesPokéSurvivor
×2 super effective×1.6
×0.5 not very effective×0.6
×0 immune×0.3
Dual-type stacking (e.g. ×4)Multiplied, clamped to ×0.3 – ×2.4 (1.6 × 1.6 = 2.56 → 2.4)
The chart works in both directions. A Water partner takes ×1.6 from Electric and Grass attacks just as it deals ×1.6 to Fire. Weather then multiplies on top; see weather effects.

Using the chart in a run

  • Single-type hordes are the best moment to use it: for 30 seconds every spawn shares one type (see mid-run events). Swap to your best move.
  • Coverage beats raw power. Your partner learns Normal moves plus its own types, so a dual-type partner has more answers. Check typings in the Pokédex.
  • Rift arenas are themed by one type of the legendary, so you know the matchup before the fight starts: rifts & legendaries.

FAQ

How does the PokéSurvivor type chart work?

It uses the main-series chart (Gen 6+) but softened: super effective ×1.6 instead of ×2, not very effective ×0.6 instead of ×0.5, and immunities ×0.3 instead of ×0. Against dual types the multipliers stack, clamped between ×0.3 and ×2.4.

Does the type chart apply to enemy attacks?

Yes. It works both ways: your moves against enemies and enemy attacks against you (using their main type or the type of their projectile).

Are there immunities in PokéSurvivor?

Not true immunities. A matchup that would be ×0 in the main games (e.g. Normal vs Ghost, Ground vs Flying) deals ×0.3 instead.
