Recommended order (opinion)
- Strength and Vitality, first 3–4 levels each. Cheap early levels give the biggest jump in survival.
- Reflexes: lower cooldown is more damage for every move.
- Magnet: very cheap and makes collecting XP safer.
- Repertoire (1,500): starting with two moves changes every opening.
- Critical Hit and Wisdom for scaling.
- Fortune once you are farming coins for other partners.
- Card reroll and Ban to shape level-up offers for a specific build.
Because upgrades are per Pokémon, pick a main from the best starter or tier list pages and invest there first. Coins come from runs, duplicate gacha pulls, missions and the fleeing Meowth (see events).
FAQ
Are PokéSurvivor upgrades shared between Pokémon?
No. Permanent upgrades are bought per Pokémon with PokéCoins, so each partner has its own upgrade levels.
What is the cost formula for upgrades?
In the game code each level costs base × growth^level, rounded to 10 coins. For example Strength starts at 80 coins and grows ×1.38 per level.
What does the Repertoire upgrade do?
It lets you start every run with 2 moves instead of 1. It has a single level and costs 1,500 coins.
