PokéSurvivor cheats, hacks and codes (after the 30 Oct anti-cheat)
Last updated · Game patch · Unofficial fan guide
PokéSurvivor has no cheats, codes or mod menus from the developer, and the "Poke Survivor hacks" going around don't hold up. Since the 30 October 2026 update, hand edits to your save simply don't stick. If what you really want is to get stronger fast, the legit routes further down will get you there, and nothing you earn that way gets taken back later.
Does PokéSurvivor have cheats or codes?
No. There's no code redemption feature in the game, and we didn't find one in the public source code either. The developer puts it plainly: there is no token, NFT, APK or code system. Tickets only come from missions, achievements and drops.
So any site listing "PokéSurvivor codes" isn't legit. The FAQ covers this too.
What changed on 30 October 2026 (save anti-cheat)
The 30 October update changed which copy of your save the game trusts. Edits made by hand to the local copy in your browser, whether through a cheat extension or the console, no longer count, because the cloud save is the one that's used. Pokémon or shinies added that way are removed. Progress you earned by playing isn't affected. On a phone it works the same way; see what it means for your save on mobile.

Do cheat engine or console edits still work?
No, that's exactly what the 30 October patch went after. If your save has been edited, your cloud save replaces it and whatever was added disappears.
What about the leaderboards?
They were touched by two recent updates, ranking seals on 26 October and a round of leaderboard fixes on 27 October. Since 26 October each run requests a seal from ice.pokesurvivor.com, and a run without a seal doesn't enter the boards; in co-op every player has their own seal. The 27 October fix made the game retry the seal more, so runs that had gone missing from the boards enter as usual. More on ranking seals and leaderboard rules.
Why "hacks", scripts and mod menus are a bad idea
For a start, they don't last. Since 30 October, anything added outside normal play is wiped when the cloud save takes over.
They're also a common scam. Nobody needs your password, payment details or a "verification" download to give you tickets, codes or Pokémon, so a "free tickets" site or a script that asks for any of those is after your account. It isn't there to help your run.
And the developer only puts the game in two places. You can play PokéSurvivor on pokesurvivor.com and on the developer's itch.io page, so a mod menu or APK from anywhere else isn't from the developer.
Is modding the source code allowed?
Yes, within limits. The source is public on GitHub, and since 14 October it's under the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 licence: you can study and modify it, but nobody may charge for it. Tinkering with a copy of the code on your own machine isn't the same as changing your real online save, and it won't touch your account, your collection or the leaderboards. The FAQ has the details.
Legit ways to progress faster (no cheats needed)
Most people who search for cheats are after more Pokémon, more coins and longer runs. These are the routes that actually get you there:
- Spend your coins on the right upgrades first. Some pay off far sooner than others, and the upgrade order shows which.
- Clear your daily and weekly missions. Nothing gives tickets more steadily.
- Stick to one banner when you pull, so pity works for you. See gacha rates and pity.
- Farm coins and tickets the efficient way with the tips page.
- Check the Kecleon Shop. TMs, Mints and Ability Capsules can fix a partner's weak spots.
- Start with a good partner (see the best starter) and run a build that fits it (see builds).
Where to report cheaters or get help
Since 30 October, the main menu shows a news banner that links to the developer's new Discord server. The PokéSurvivor page on itch.io is the other way to reach the developer.
FAQ
Are there any PokéSurvivor codes?
No. PokéSurvivor has no code redemption feature and no code system. You get tickets from missions, achievements and drops.
Do PokéSurvivor hacks still work after the 30 October update?
No. Since 30 October, hand edits to the local save no longer count, whether they come from a cheat extension or the console. The game uses your cloud save instead.
Will I lose Pokémon I got from cheats?
Yes. The 30 October patch notes say Pokémon or shinies added by editing the save are removed.
Will cheating affect the progress I earned normally?
No. According to the patch notes, progress earned by playing isn't affected. Only what was added by editing goes away.
Is there a PokéSurvivor mod menu or script?
Not from the developer. Poke Survivor is only on pokesurvivor.com and itch.io, so any third-party mod menu, script or "verification" download puts your account at risk.
